PLEATED FILTER BAGS

PTFE MEMBRANE LAMINATED FILTER BAGS
We offer PTFE membrane laminated filter bags to counter the disadvantages of conventional "depth filtration" media. In conventional media the felt fabrics act as a media for the built up of a dust cake, which in turn captures even more & finer particles of dust. The filters are cleaned continuously to remove some of the dust cake & then begin the process all over again.
PTFE membrane laminated on filtration side of filter media permits air to pass through the filter media while trapping all particles on surface. Membrane laminated filter bags are termed as BACT (Best Available Control Technology).
The membrane laminated filter bags do surface filtration where the filtration is done by a micro porous PTFE membrane which is laminated to a process compatible filter media. The support media provides the physical strength to fabric whereas filtration is done by the membrane. The phenomenon is termed as surface filtration and has following advantages:
